Promotes Intense Flower Development and the Swelling of Fruits
King Kola is a powerful booster that brings the best out of your plants during the flowering stages. It helps to speed up the transition from veg to flower, increases flowering sites, and causes fruits to swell in size. It does this by supplying plants with a boost of phosphorus and potassium, two essential macronutrients that play numerous roles in plant growth and development. For more information take a look at our Emerald Harvest Blog.
How King Kola Works
King Kola is a PK booster that delivers exceptional results right the way through the bloom phase. All you need to do is adjust the dosage accordingly, starting low early on, and increasing it as you progress through to harvest. Just make sure that you reduce the dosage in the second to last week of flower and stop altogether during the final week of flushing.
You can start using it as soon as you flip your lights to a 12/12 lighting cycle. Adding in King Kola at this stage causes plants to transition from vegetative growth to 'flowering mode' as quickly as possible. The quicker this happens, the quicker you'll get to harvest time! And the good news is that King Kola also lays down solid foundations in the process. It does this by increasing the numbers of flower formations across the plant. This paves the way for a greater quantity of fruits later on.
As you move through the flowering stages and increase the dosage, your plants get an increased hit of phosphorus and potassium, two macronutrients that cause fruits to visibly swell in size, leading to bigger and better harvests.
How to Use King Kola
Add King Kola to your nutrient reservoir alongside your other nutrients. Begin using it after switching to a 12/12 lighting cycle. Start off at a dosage of 1ml per litre and work your way up to 3.1ml per litre during mid-flower (weeks 4-5 on a 9 week cycle). From this point on, start working the dosage down, finishing altogether for the final week of flushing. As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, never mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight out of the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir or feed water in turn, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
The ideal pH range after mixing nutrients is 5.8 to 6.3. Keep water temperatures between 18° and 21°, using a chiller, if necessary.
